GLORY!!!

Posted by: Nathan   in Career Goals, Main Feature

GLORY!!!!

I am on my way to AWESOME GLORY!!!

My fitness work is coming together, I am starting these business’s.

I am starting to feel the way I want about myself and my life.  I look forward to the good times rather than back at the bad.

If the opportunity knocks I am read to answer the door, if it doesn’t knock then I will build a door and wait in anticipation.

I am motivated, inspired and have access to the tools to keep going.

I am at the base of the pyramid and are leaning the ladder up against the side.  Its time to climb.

This is the start of it. a life of FFA.  Freedom, Fun and Adventure.

Everything coming together for me to get the life I deserve.

Like most people I want to work less and earn more.  the business’s i am setting up are something that will set this up.  giving me an opportunity to start to make enough money to leave my  job and rely on these business’s to live the life of FFA.

I plan to earn enough through my business’s to be able to outsource jobs and eventually it will become mostly automated.

There is a lot of work to get to that point, but there is nothing stopping me except myself.

You can do this too.

Go do it.

I want to go deeper into this.  but I will wait until I am living the life I want.

I will be in a place where I can talk from experience and be able to show you what I can do and what you can do too.

So, please keep reading and be patient and learn from this.

Thanks for reading.

Fitness Update! Keeping it going!!!

Posted by: Nathan   in Fitness Goals

My fitness training as you guys now has been fluctuating like crazy, I start one thing, get bored of it, then try another, get bored of that and so on.

I am in a run at the moment of the longest unbroken run of sustained regular training I have ever done.

I joined my current gym, which opened last November and have been regularly attending their at least 3 times a week on average ever since.

I am very proud of this run, I have at last found some momentum and consistency with it.  I am also enjoying it, there are some awesome people at the gym, who do nothing but welcome me to the gym, that’s staff and other gym users, there are so many motivating, fun amazing people there, at times, I just can’t wait to get there, even on days I don‘t feel like going.

I feel so energized and awesome of glory right now, even though I get frustrated at times when I don‘t see the progress for my self sometimes or maybe I hit a plateau and struggle though it.

But its worth it, the struggle.

Two years ago I wore 34/36 inch waist jeans, the other day I bought a new pair 30 inch wait.   And I have T-shirts that I had either  bought or had given to me that were too small and now they fit.

It feels great when that happens.

There is always something to improve on though, I need to tone up and build up my strength.

A lot more weight training and core work is in order.

LETS BRING IT!!!

Thanks for reading!

Starting My Own Businesses!

Posted by: Nathan   in Career Goals, Financial Goals

I have made some small steps with regards to setting up a couple of things to help me increase my income.

I now have an awesomely talented guy called Zlatko from Macedonia working on my design for the T-shirt. It should be done in the next few days.  Then it will be a matter of looking into getting it printed onto a T-shirt and getting it ready to sell and then of course, selling it.

I have contacted couple of major high street stores with regards to putting it in their stores.  This is in very early stages; I have only sent an initial email asking for details on whom to contact and how.  This will be moving forward hopefully in the next couple of weeks and will at best end in them making sizable purchases of my product and selling them in their stores.

I will also be putting the T-shirt on Ebay, so I can get an idea of how popular it is and have some ammo when talking to the high street stores.

Eventually, with the anticipated success of this initial design I will then be creating more designs and then creating a website and opening an online store.

Also,

I am beginning to learn how to create apps for Android.  And from this I hope to not only create my own Apps to sell but to offer services to others.  I will look to create apps for other people.

I am really excited about the T-shirt.  It’s going be awesome.

Who wants a T-shirt!!!! LOL!!!

Neglect! All For One, One For All!

Posted by: Nathan   in Main Feature

No, its not the three musketeers.

Crazy bonkers.

That’s what I have been the last couple of months.  My ‘cycling’ goal totally took over my free time and training at the gym.

I have neglected all else and have now calmed down training with my Personal trainer Tom whom I have been working with over the past few weeks. Sessions to get my techniques sorted and ready to start lifting the heavier weights and focuses on what is needed to be an awesome cyclist.

But then, after chatting to one or two friends and colleagues, I realized that I was taking in Tom with a blind disregard for all my other goals and certain areas of my life, even though I was making massive progress within my training and I learnt alot from Tom and his advice.

I was going to happily spend £168 per month, a heft amount of money from my monthly wage, plus having to save for a bike, I would then have no spare money left over to do other things.

I have talked to people about starting a T-shirt range. I want write and make a film, go out and have more of a good time and so much more other stuff.  All of which would require I cut back on sessions with Tom, so I can spend money on these other things.  Like a designer for my t-shirt, going in a scriptwriting course and just being able to pay to get in a club on a night out. This would be a great start.

So what next.

Payday – pay a designer to sort out the picture on the T-shirt, then got it made and onto online auction sites and see how it goes.   Its Horror themed and what I have in mind will be real cool and with the right plan of action it will be a success for me.  Over time I hope I can get in into shops as well, producing uncharted success for me in business.

Plus, I will hopefully have a little spare money to be able to put into my savings account for a road bike too.  I still want to cycle, just a little bit more cheaply.

I will then start to go out more, enjoy life as much as possible.  I really life is slipping me by and I need to start taking action and meet new people with similar ambition to me, and who knows maybe I’ll actually find my self a girl friend. icon biggrin Neglect! All For One, One For All!

So, hurry up payday!  I want to TAKE ACTION!

In the meantime, I’ll be still going to the gym, I’ll free up some time to work on my screen play and one or two other things I have planned with others, that will have to be set up soon as possible.

Here goes.

It’s my time to shine.  No pressure?

And on another note, every time I have to make a change, I got so frustrated and down its unbelievable.  It would help if I could deal with this process better mentally.

Maybe some mental fitness training on dealing with this would help.  I’m not even joking.

Any ideas? post them on the forum.

Thanks

While you are going through treatment for breast cancer, mesothelioma, or any other kind of cancer, it is a given that you will be feeling slow, tired, and frustrated, to say the least! Cancer is an ordeal that can take a great deal out of even the healthiest person, and if you are looking for a way to keep yourself occupied and sharp while you are undergoing treatment, this is where exercise comes in. If you have let your exercise routine slip or you have never had one in the first place, take a moment to think about how a small amount of exercise can help you.

Dr. Rachel Ballard-Barbash of NCI’s Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences states that there is an “incredibly strong” link between physical activity and an improved life quality for those currently undergoing cancer treatment and those who have finished it. With this in mind, think about the kind of exercise that you want to do and go from there. This is definitely the time to take control of your life in your own hands and to make some important decisions about your health. What kind of exercise do you think best suits you?

When you are considering exercise during or after treatment, you need to think about what you will go to. There are plenty of people who buy gym memberships only to avoid the gym like mad whenever it comes up. If you are someone who is interested in getting out of the house, going to the gym is a good idea, but on the other hand, if you are a homebody, a home gym might be the perfect thing for you. On the other hand, you may dislike the repetition of standard exercise equipment. In that case, something like a cycling class or a dance class may be precisely what you need.

Take a moment to think about any kind of physical activity that you enjoy. What makes you feel strong or graceful? It is important to find a type of exercise that you can keep up with, no matter what kind it is. The key is to get moving on a regular basis and to make sure that you are in a place where you want to do it.

When you are exercising, focus on how much more powerful you are making your body and what you are doing to keep it healthy. Think about the post exercise endorphin rush that you will be getting, not how tired or sweaty you feel. This is something that can make a huge difference to your exercise regimen.

Exercise and recovery from cancer is something that is very linked, so take advantage of this fact and try to get the exercise that will help you recover.

Its Harder Than You Think!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Sorry for the delay!  To this magnificent blogarama.  I have been distracted of sorts, Christmas, new year, I moved too.  That’s no excuse of course, I have had the time, just haven’t written one.

You know. I was going to rant about New Year’s resolutions on the blog.  But then thought that it would be stupid.

I could right an essay about resolutions or goals and why people don’t stick to them.

What people don’t realise is what stopped them from reaching their goal, was always going to be part of the journey towards the end result, they just didn’t foresee it and take the right action. Thinking it would be too much hard work for them and then give in.

Plus, there are probably countless articles online about new years goal setting and sticking points; I don’t want this to be one.

Now, who told anyone that reaching a goal was easy?  I have found ever goal I have set hard to achieve.  I set a goal to write a screenplay months ago.  Have I written it? NO!  But there are other goals that I have set that I have stuck too, like my fitness training for one.  I feel a lot fitter not and have set a new goal with regards to fitness and sport that will push me even further towards a level of fitness I think we all want to achieve.

I had two goals years ago set up a blog and lose weight.  I have done both.

This next year though, I have given myself a challenging goal.  Some readers of my blog already know it.  I am planning to take up competitive cycling and race.  I am a total beginner and need to work hard at it to get to where I need to be.  And to help me I am going to be hiring a former junior pro cyclist as my Personal Trainer to push me in the right direction and get to my goal.  Here is his website for you’re for you browsing pleasure.

I probably won’t reach the level of cycling I want to achieve this year, maybe the end of 2013.  The goal this year is to start it up, get the bike, get cycling and totally immerse myself in the training but without affecting my other goals too much.

There are the other goals of course.  The screen plays the making more money.  Which I think will come hand in hand if I can write a good script I think. These are ongoing and will not be forgotten about, they have just been delayed.

I have really caught hold of the fitness and competitive bugs and I am running (or cycling) with it.

Here is a link to my trainer’s website if you are interested in fitness yourself.

http://smifffit.wordpress.com/category/home/

His name it Tom.  He is a former Pro Cyclist, so I am in good hands.

So, yeah, that’s about it really.

Please feel free to leave comments and tell me what you think.  I do appreciate any feedback and really want to encourage your involvement in the site too.

I had an email off a guy called David Haas asking to post an article he has written, about how a fitness regime helps give a cancer patient a more fighting chance.

I am looking forward to reading it for myself and will be posting it on the website as soon as possible.

Thanks

My Financial Goals!

Posted by: Nathan   in Financial Goals

Financial success is something a lot of people crave. It’s one of the main reasons if not the main reason why we work and go through the further education university system.

Me personally have not gone through University, in fact I feel like I have very little qualifications of any note at all, yet still want to become financially successful.

Now, what does being financial successful mean to me?

Essentially it is being in a position to not worry about paying the bills.  I have spent so much of my working life worrying about whether I can afford to pay my rent or pay my share of the bills, let alone have fun with my money.

Financial success to me, is having my own house, having a car, paying all the bills and still being able to afford to have fun with my money afterwards, with out having to worry about it or take care with how much I spend.

It also includes being able to financially help others in my life too. If my family struggle for cash, then I am there to help when ever and it’s the same for close friends.

Now what I just described as my own version of financial success, is the bear minimum required.  What I am truly aiming for with this, am to be able to retire by the age of 50, still being able to do all the things I want and need to do.  I‘ll probably need to become close too or even become a millionaire to be able to do this. I got a long way to go. icon wink My Financial Goals!

I assume you are thinking how the hell do I plan to do this.  It’s rare to become a millionaire and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get there, it may even take you well past the age of 50 to get the success I want.

Well, It will take a lot of time, hard work and dedication to get there. But if you want the life you want, then why the hell not put the effort in.  The people who feel like are either people who don’t want a better life or are totally happy with what they have and don’t need or even want more.

I want more, and I am motivated and passionate to get the life I want.  And I am taking action, its slow right now, but when I get going, I’ll be well on my way to financial success.

There are two things I will be doing that will hopefully start off my journey to financial success and success in other parts of my life too.

I will be selling T-shirts soon, I am in the process of getting a T-shirt designed and the putting it online to sell, I have a plan to build a brand with it and make a lot of money with it.

The second plan is the screenplay, which is something that in the long run will put me in a position to make a lot of money through filmmaking.

These two plans will not be easy will they? No they won’t.  But I will get them done and I’ll have to see how they go and blog about what is going on with them soon enough.

Anyway, this is my fourth blog today; my eyes are tired from looking my screen so much today.  I am off to chill for an hour or two and get away from the laptop.

Thanks for reading and please tell me you feedback.

My Fitness Goals!!!

Posted by: Nathan   in Fitness Goals

Well, check me out, my second blog in a day.  Don’t think I have done that before.  I posted up them Tony Robbins videos a day apart but not a normal blog that this one.

Lol

Anyway, who cares about time when it’s being wasted?

Let’s get down to business and write the fitness goal blog.

Lets start by defining what I want from my fitness and diet regime.

At first it was to lose weight.  I was like nearly 13stone.  Now I am under 11stone.  My goal has changed. Even tough I still have a little belly I know that it will hard to get off now than what it was two years ago.

So what is my new fitness goal.  Strength and toning.  I am not that strong In my opinion, man, even though I have done a lot of cardio to get that weight off, I feel y cardio is crap too.

So, I need to do a mixture of cardio and weight training to build up my cardio and strength levels up to an above average place.

I gave up on doing the insanity program a couple of months ago. I got bored of it.  It was hard; it did get fitter and lost a decent amount of weight on it.

Now, since I joined the new gym near me and have been changing things, finding what I enjoy and sticking to that.

I have done classes at the gym, Spin, Circuits, Kettle bells.  I love doing spin. So I do that 2 times a week which sorts out the cardio.

Then on top of that I do weights.  I don’t focus on one particular area of my body when I do though.  I don’t just do arms. Or just my legs or back.  I do a general weight workout and do 2-3 different workouts per body part each session. Plus when I am doing the weights session I also do a 2km jog to warm up and something else cardio based to cool down.

I feel like I am getting results with doing this.  I few people have said I have lost weight and look stronger since I started the gym, so hopefully they are telling the truth and it working.

The total aim for me with this though it get that six pack, and to be well toned all over and muscular, but not too much.  I am not Ronnie Coleman!

And with my cardio I want to be able to do local competitions, like if there is a cycle race, or a 10km run, I can take part and not finish last.

This is my fitness plan, lets do it.

Thanks

My Career Goals!

Posted by: Nathan   in Career Goals

I have had many jobs in my time. None I have really enjoyed deep down.  Don’t get me wrong, I have learnt a lot from them and have made many new friends and developed many skills.

Still though, I need to keep looking for a job I will love with my whole heart, a job I will enjoy and want to get up in the morning to do.

For years now, I have wanted to make a film.  Even though I haven’t actually been involved in anything serious in filmmaking I feel this is what I want to do with my life.

I have many failed attempts at writing a screenplay.  Many different ideas floating through my head but when it comes to taking the action of starting and then completing the script and then getting it funded and made, I have struggled at the first hurdle.

I also have other things I want to start up.  I have began to look in to designing and selling my own T-shirts, hopefully I can get that started soon.  Its a bit late for Christmas this year but in the new year I will push hard to get it started and hopefully can gain some success from it.

Man, I got so many things I need to do to get this stuff up and running.  Get an artist to draw my design, get it printed, get it online and start selling it.  It’s a lot of work to start with but when its done, it will be just a matter of sending the T-shirts to people who buy them.

It’s the same with the screenplay. Writing my first feature length screenplay is very daunting to say the least.  Which makes me think I should write a few shorter plays instead, for the practice.

Anyhow, I will no doubt be blogging again when things start to get rolling with these plans.  So hope you enjoyed this.  And hope to hear some feedback.

Also, I don’t know if you regular readers have noticed, but I have changed the categories of my blogs.  They will be more focused on a particular area of my life I am improving on.

I will hopefully get the chance to blog in the other categories today also, so please be on the look out for them.

Plus, I am trying to add another page to the site where I can upload videos to the site.  I have posted some Tony Robbins Videos up in the past, which have been real popular. So hopefully I can get it done ASAP so we can enjoy the videos a lot easier.

Thanks
